Normally, spotlight issues don’t really do anything for me. This one stood out because of the line, “The original Human Torch is back, and he isn’t the only one returning.”

When I read that line, something in my mind clicked into place. It had to do with a suspicious solicit for a miniseries called “Reborn” that I had seen a few weeks ago.

Reborn #1

INKS: Jackson Guice
THE STORY:
Solicit to be revealed soon.

People have been speculating what this series is about, and since there was no cover image to go with the solicit, people’s guesses have been quite varied.

So I’m going to post my theory, that “Reborn” has something to do with the return of Jim Hammond, the original Human Torch. It fits with the fact that it is Marvel’s 70th anniversary, and Marvel Comics #1 featured the original Human Torch.
